What I Wore

I was so excited to have such a cute outfit for work today, but then I locked my keys in the car. I'm using this car while my Mom is on vacation, so I didn't have a spare. What a way to start the day! :) My amazing Papa (grandpa) and Momma got right on the ball trying to help me out. SO blessed to have people who help me in situations like that instead of making me feel dumb. I love my family! Grand Blanc Motor Cars was amazing. If you ever in this situation, call your dealer. They may be able to help! As soon as my grandpa called, they sent a man out for no charge to open the door for me! WOW. I live an hour and a half away, so that's seriously good service. If you ever need to buy a car, please check them out! :) They made a stressful situation not so awful.

So, for my outfit:
Dress: New York and Company- $10 (clearance is amazing there)
Belt: Forever21- $4.80
Navy Cardigan: Target- $9.99
Shoes: Target- $27

I love orange and navy together! Maybe it's because it represents my beta chi omega sisterhood? :)

Store of the Month

Today was my gorgeous cousin Kate's baby shower. I cannot wait to meet her new baby girl! The store was held at my aunt's niece's store called "The Baby Love Shoppe" in downtown Flushing, MI. It is absolutely adorable! The store was converted from an old bank into a baby store. The store sells tons of unique and gorgeous items for babies and toddlers, plus has a photography studio! Here's a few pictures from the store:

My Mom and I bought two of the sock-monkey hats. WAY too cute!

Flashback Friday

Ah, the balloon headpiece. Fashion diva.

The most amazing grandpa in the world!

Silly you! You probably thought this knee-length beauty was a skirt...

I went to Bible college and did cheerleading... we were required to wear culottes. Yep. These horrific things are real. Go team.

Ah-the memories.
